Goodwin Creek Farm & Bakery 2 a.m. on a moonlit night.

Located in Afton, Virginia.   Just a few miles from Charlottesville, close to several vineyards and Blue Mountain Brewery.

We bake bread from scratch virtually every day and deliver it fresh to many stores and restaurants in Charlottesville, Albemarle and Nelson County. We use only the best ingredients, like King Arthur Flour and our own eggs from here at the farm.

We are growing fruits and vegetables with hard work and care using "Better than organic"™ methods, We deliver it all fresh to local markets and restaurants. 

You can find our produce and bakery products at Revolutionary Soup, Rebecca's Natural Food, Greenberrys, Crozet Great Valu, Greenwood Gourmet Grocery, Fardowners, Blue Mountain Brewery, Afton Mountain Vineyards and Basic Necessities or Ambrosia in Nellysford. and many more locations! We are located about 15 miles West of Charlottesville Virginia at the foot-hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Goodwin Creek Farm products are not  third party certified organic unless otherwise stated.

Eggs...  We have great production of beautiful brown eggs.

    These chickens are really having a great time.  We feed them all-natural and certified organic feed.  They are free to roam where they wish all day.  They run and play and sunbathe.  Then every night they all come back into the barn for a good stress free nights sleep. (there are a couple that take their chances camping out under the stars in a tree.). 

What We Do

We have a passion for wholesome food.  We grow it and we make it, we bake it.  Everything here is made from scratch.  With a lot of work and care, food can be more healthy, more in tune with nature, better for our bodies.  It is about better taste and some things you can't measure.  In season we have lettuce, eggplant, tomatoes, peppers and more.

• Caution Hot Bread! Greenwood Gourmet Grocery is selling our bread hot Saturday and Sunday morning.   we get there around 11 AM.
